The Republic of Georgia was part of the former Soviet Union. She studied art in T&amp;acirc;€™bilisi at the Mose Toidze&amp;acirc;€™s Art School maintaining the grade of excellent, or all A&amp;acirc;€™s While attending this school, she was assigned to do painting, drawing of scenery, and decorating the Georgian Opera House doing work for various ballets, operas, and other shows. This class assignment lasted for two years and gave her valuable and varied experience. Khatuna was then accepted into the Georgian Teachers Training Institute of Art. This is a five year training program. She graduated with honors with a degree that is equivalent to a master&amp;acirc;€™s degree in art, technical drawing, and education here in the United States. During this training she discovered many new styles of art from Georgian, Russian, and European professors of art in both impressionist and realistic forms of art In 1995 she immigrated to the United States with her husband. CowgirlI actually got the idea for this sketch from a trip to the Oregon coast. Just up from our cabin their is a wonderful riding stable.
