Description: Western woodburning art rodeo/cowgirl (small child) sitting down with her horse. This is a precious drawing by an Angola Inmate, Thomas Humphries. It is a hand drawn (burnt) on wood picture. It is in a wooden frame and measures 10" x 12". On the back it is signed by Inmate Thomas Humphries - October 2006. History: Angola (also known as "The Farm") is the Louisiana State Penitentiary and is estimated to be one of the largest prisons in the U.S. with 5,000 inmates and 1,800 staff members. Every weekend in October they have the Angola Prison Rodeo and Arts and Crafts Show, all of the items are made by the inmates. That is where I purchased this picture.
