ACEO Littlest Cowgirl I remember when my daughter started riding horses. I was proud of her determination to learn and fearful of her getting hurt. This was the time that I learned to start letting go a little as a mother. Now, I am a grandma, and my 3 year old granddaughter is showing a love of animals. This summer she will start riding in our horse arena, and I will be there supervising. I will require her to wear her helmet at all times. This drawing is done in pencil with the red shirt in ink. I think it captures the look of a little cowgirl on her old trusted pony. This piece of art is drawn in professional quality pen & ink and professional drawing pencils on professional bristol board. It will be shipped to you in a clear plastic sleeve for protection by USPS first class mail. ACEO stands for Artists Card Editions and Originals, and the only binding rule for using this title is that the art piece measure 2 1/2 " x 3 1/2". This is a great way to collect original pieces of art in a fun and affordable way! These art pieces can be given as gifts, displayed in frames, in albums and mounted in greeting cards. This piece of art was totally created and conceived by me, Roberta L Howard, the original artist. I live in northwest Ohio, in the Great Black Swamp area. This region of Ohio was the last to be settled in the state, due to the harsh living conditions. Now, the swamp is gone, tamed by our grandparents and great grandparents into fertile productive farmland. The counties of northwest Ohio is mostly farmland and agriculture is our main source of income. Most of us who live here are pretty independent folk...we need to be. We do not live near urban areas, and a trip to town can sometimes be 25 miles or more. We are resourceful, hardworking people who know how to work hard and appreciate what has been given to us. I have been an artist all my life. In the 1990's I gained some recognition from baseball card and sports memorabilia collectors as a miniature baseball player portrait artist. Those paintings are in collections throughout the United States. I've also painted animal portraits on commission in addition to paintings and drawings of many other topics. My personal favorites though are of animals and children. I retain all rights to my art. This piece of art and all others created by R.L. Howard, are copyrighted and may not be reproduced in any way. At this time I only ship to the United States only.
